The Territory Manager will be responsible for developing professional relationships with clients always seeking to maintain and increase customer satisfaction. You will be expected to increase the territory's revenue by prospecting new accounts and developing new business. You will do this by promoting the wide array of products and services including: Less Than Truckload, Truckload, Domestic Air Freight, 3PL Services, Warehousing, and Specialized Flatbed/Temp Controlled.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Negotiate and maintain profitable portfolio of business;
  • Maintain and increase existing business
  • Close new business through prospecting new accounts
  • Show revenue growth within assigned territory
  • Develop professional relationship with customers
  • Entertain customers at various venues throughout the area
  • Determine profitable pricing structure between company and client
  • Main liaison between company and customer
  • Record all expenses weekly
  • Attend weekly sales meetings, quarterly reviews, semi-annual seminars, and all company-related functions
  • Maintain daily activity log electronically
  • Provide all internal paperwork needed to create, change or activate any customer's information

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of Air Freight, Less Than Truckload, or Truckload
  • Prospecting and sales management skills
  • Easily establishes and maintains relationships with prospects and customers
  • Ability to identify, report, and correct problems
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Highly motivated team player with a mature, positive attitude and a passion for working with customers to create value and generate revenue

Credentials and Experience:

  • High school degree required
  • College degree is preferred
  • Transportation experience is preferred but not required
  • Sales experience with a track record of success
  • Must be fluent in Spanish
