Job Summary: To serve as a centralized information center for all questions, inquiries and complaints. To provide accurate information regarding all tasks and responsibilities performed by the Client Services Representative and to outperform the customers' expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Respond to Telephone and email requests for service – pick-ups, quotes, tracking, tracing, problem solving, provide a proactive approach to shipment details and transit.
  • Sort, forward and process incoming faxes and e-mails and phone calls.
  • Maintain all necessary files and administrative paperwork required to respond to client and management requests.
  • Perform any administrative projects directed by management or client requests.
  • Serve as a liaison between our customers and vendors maintaining all relationships always keeping our culture and world-class customer service in mind.
  • Assistant to sales representatives and other departments as a member of our gold team structure.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to establish priorities and execute those priorities.
  • Ability to identify, report, and correct problems
  • Knowledge of how outside carriers conduct business: i.e. our entire partner and vendor network.
  • Proficient typing skills (30-35 words per minute)
  • Computer knowledge including use of Microsoft applications: i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Heavy phone work is required thus one needs excellent 2 way communication skills (listening and speaking)

Credentials and Experience

  • High school degree required
  • Associate degree in a two year college a plus
  • 1-2 years experience with Transportation or Phone Center environment is a plus.
